Web24 de dic. de 2010 · :help My truck blows cold air out of the vents when it is idling. New years eve it did the same thing, then low coolant light. Filled it up jan 1. Today the truck was flushed, rid of dexcool, now good green stuff. Also installed two new thermostats. Still blows cold while idling. When revved to 1000 or more rpms it blows hot like it should. New water pump, full antifreeze, new heater core, new thermostat and running 210F engine temp. heat drops to little or nothing at idle and blows pretty good at speed. I've only put 3000-5000 miles on since teh water pump replacement.
